For those of you that live with someone (assuming they are not young kids), do you share in the cooking and cleaning of your home?
Does one do almost all of the cooking? Food shopping? Cleaning up after meals etc?
I was just curious, I live alone and sometimes it gets a bit tiresome to do the food shopping, cooking, cleaning. I will say one plus, is that I can cook what I want, and if it isn't good I can eat hummus and pita, finished off with some graham crackers. :) I don't have to deal with different food preferences, I just buy and cook what I want. And, if I don't want to eat a "real dinner" totally fine. Hey gotta find the bennies of living alone.
I was speaking with a good friend and she said her husband has maybe picked up something at the grocery store a handful of times over the years, and has never made any kind of dinner.
And another friend, the kitchen is HER space, and wouldn't want any help at all. She loves (and wants) to do all of it ... from the shopping, to the cooking, to cleaning up......
My best friend, her hub does most of the cooking. Toasting bagels is her domain.
