As it was in the beginning

In the last remaining hours in operation, I thought I'd leave you with a link I just found relative to the beginnings of this online community. Though I can't comment on anything which has taken place since I checked out of my spot here more than ten years ago, I do know at that time that the boards were in their third format. Asking around seemed to suggest that the first bulletin board was likely around 1998, which was a couple of years before I came aboard.
